How to Clean a Plastic Table

One of the easiest ways to clean a plastic table desk is with a dry soft cloth. Even if you do not use the table often, over time the surface can gather a large amount of dust. This dirt is easy to remove and will not require water, soaps, or any type of cleaning materials. A simple cloth will take care of dust, leaves, and any other random pieces scattered on your plastic table.

If there are any stains or sticky marks on the surface, you may need to use a sponge and water. Persistent marks will require some soap and a bit of elbow grease to remove them. Unlike wood, plastic can be washed by just about any type of soap as long as it does not have acid. Fill up a small basin with water and add whatever type of soap you have available. Once the table desk has been washed, you will need to plastic-tablerinse it off with water or a clean cloth.

If you are short on time, try using a vacuum for a quick cleaning. Although it is not as efficient as a cloth and water, it will still get off most of the dirt. A vacuum is also convenient for an office table desk where you cannot use water. Small office vacuums are very easy to use and will guarantee a clean table in no time. When the vacuum fills up with dust, simply empty it into a garbage can.

If there are permanent looking stains on the plastic table, you may need to use a stronger substance to remove it. There are many stain-removing products designs specifically for plastic. These products are available at most supermarkets and home-related stores, so there should be a shop near you. If you cannot find any, you can always purchase online instead.
