4. A large shoot allows a lot of fruit and vegetables to fit through without having to chop up beforehand.

5. I have not had any mechanical issues so far, but spares are relatively easy to come by and are inexpensive.

Disadvantages:

1. The spout is static which means that you can get drips after on your work-surface after you’ve removed your glass or juice container. I believe that is in the cheaper models. The more expensive Jack Lalanne Juicer have a spout which you can now lift up.

2. Some harder vegetables and fruit require a little more pressure than is stated to get them throughout the juicer. This applies particularly to vegetables like carrots and beets.

3. The juicer needs to be cleaned immediately after use, especially with produce like carrots and oranges which can stain the plastic. This is only a n aesthetic factor and does not affect the cleanliness or workability of the juicer.
